About the team we are recruiting to
In Coventry, we are working hard to build something special. Children and families are at the heart of everything we do, and we believe they deserve the best outcomes. Children’s Services provides a wide range of statutory and non-statutory duties, from Early Help Services, through to children who are looked after.
Supporting Families launched in March 2021 and builds on the previous Troubled Families programme. As set out in ‘Supporting Families 2021 to 2022 and beyond’, its focus is on building the resilience of vulnerable families, and on driving system change so that every area has joined up, efficient local services which are able to identify families in need and provide the right support at the right time.
The Supporting Families Programme helps thousands of families across England to get the help they need to address multiple disadvantages through a whole family approach, delivered by keyworkers, working for local authorities and their partners.
What is the job role?
In Coventry the Supporting Families Data Team are central in demonstrating the impact of front-line practice across services that support children and families from Early Help right through to Children’s Social Care. They play a crucial role in the quality assurance processes that underpin the programme and support front line practitioners to evidence sustained outcomes for children and families.
The Supporting Families Programme brings funding into the Local Authority that can be reinvested into services through a Payment by Results process. The analysts in the team support practitioners to evidence outcomes for children and families and complete a robust audit process to draw down the funding from central government.
