Creative Programme Lead - Changing Trax - Positive Youth Foundation

What is the job role?

Job Purpose:

To take lead responsibility for our collaborative Youth Music/City of Culture Trust funded ‘Changing Trax’ programme designed to raise the aspirations, employability and creative skills of young people across Coventry. You will design, deliver and co-ordinate programmes to engage young people in creative learning opportunities and pathways for sustained engagement.

The Creative Programme Lead manages the engagement of all young people and the quality of programmes designed and offered to them to support their journey and progression. They have an overall responsibility to see each designed programme from inception to successful outcomes. The role is a fundamental part of the organisation and supports young people across every strand within PYF. You will be responsible for leading a wide-ranging staff team, made up of creative youth workers, freelance practitioners and delivery staff and volunteers.

New programmes in the pipeline include: a daytime creative training offer for young people in alternative education settings. An ambitious youth-voice initiative working in collaboration with the City of Culture evaluation team. An R&D piece of work regarding Art Therapies in youth work settings, and a season of youth led events.
