The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a new cover supervisor role within our Early Years and Year 1 setting to commence as soon as possible. Wyken Croft provides an excellent environment for all of the stakeholders of the school. Although we are a large primary school in Coventry, we pride ourselves on knowing each child and family individually allowing our children to achieve their maximum potential. What is the job role?

The successful candidate will be expected to;

  • Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons and courses for individuals, groups and whole classes.
  • Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required.
  • Assess the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
  • To prepare and provide written and/or verbal reports, evaluations and action plans for Senior Management Team.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be an exemplary practitioner with a love for learning
  • Be motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children within additional needs, their families and staff. 
  • Be committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding of our children

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
