About the team we are recruiting to

Grange Farm is a two-form entry school – from Reception to Year 6 – in the Styvechale Grange area of Coventry.  At Grange Farm, we put the children at the centre of everything that we do as all members of the community strive towards our shared vision:

Be a curious, motivated learner.

Be independent and embrace challenges.

Be respectful and responsible citizens of the world.

Be healthy and positive in mind and body.

BE GRANGE FARM.

What is the job role?

Grange Farm are looking to add to the team of enthusiastic and committed teaching staff we have at our friendly and successful school. Strong relationships between staff and children ensures that children are happy attending Grange Farm. This is evident in the exemplary behaviour that children show which is commented on by the vast majority of visitors who come to Grange Farm.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for teaching classes across the school while teachers are on PPA, managing release time, attending CPD or having meetings. There will be times – when staff are absent – and the successful candidate will cover absence too. Experience in teaching whole classes is essential.

We offer:

  • Commitment to your professional development.
  • A friendly school with a strong community spirit.
  • Well-mannered and hardworking pupils.
  • A school that ensures staff wellbeing is important.

Please note that this is a term-time-only role and annual leave is not permitted to be taken during the working weeks of this role.

Who are we looking for?

This role would be suitable for a teacher who wishes to make a career change or a HLTA who wishes to progress further.  However, applications are welcome from other suitably qualified candidates.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed – please contact our school office to arrange this.  Alternatively, we are happy to organise a telephone conversation with the Headteacher if this would be preferred.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.

Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
