What is the job role?

The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a new Cover Supervisor role within KS2 to commence in September 2026. Wyken Croft provides an excellent environment for all of the stakeholders of the school. Although we are a large primary school in Coventry, we pride ourselves on knowing each child and family individually allowing our children to achieve their maximum potential. We have our ‘Seven Steps to Success’ embedded within our culture which we believe enable our children to be happy, engaged and positive about their futures, striving to be the very best they can be.

The successful candidate will be expected to;

• Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons and courses for individuals, groups and whole classes.
• Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required.
• Assess the development, progress and attainment of pupils.

• To prepare and provide written and/or verbal reports, evaluations and action plans for Senior Management Team.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Be an exemplary practitioner with a love for learning
   Be motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment.
   Have an excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children within additional needs, their families and staff. 
• Be committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding of our children
