What is the job role?
You will work closely with service users, carers and other professionals to provide review service to professionally accepted standards. You will have basic knowledge of relevant legislation and policy relating to Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Safeguarding Adults and Children and GDPR.
This is a fabulous opportunity for Social Work Students to join Coventry’s Social Work and Social Care Bank as a Community Case Worker.
Community Case Workers work within our Adult Social Work teams, working with vulnerable adults with disabilities.
This Social Work and Social Care Bank Position will involve undertaking reviews of people with care and support needs, living at home or in residential care who receive support to meet their assessed eligible care needs.

Who are we looking for?
If you are a Social Work Student going into Year 2 or 3 of an BA course or in Year 1 or 2 of an MA course, this might be the experience you need?
Do you want to develop your knowledge and skills whilst gaining valuable experience to support your readiness to practice?
Are you available during university vacations and want to earn some extra income?
This is a Social Work and Social Care Bank Position, and you will need Flexibility to commit to casual / adhoc cover and short notice arrangements. This will include availability to work across Monday – Friday and to work in July and August 2023.
