Class Teacher - St Andrew's CofE Infant School

St Andrew’s is a popular two-form entry infant school situated in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Coventry. Our pupils are happy, enthusiastic, and well-behaved learners who make our school a fantastic place to be. All members of our school community work together to live out our school values of respect, responsibility, and peace. If you are an experienced EYFS/key stage one teacher whose values align with ours, then we’d love to receive an application from you. What is the job role?

We are looking to appoint an experienced EYFS teacher who:

  • Understands the importance of highly effective EYFS and Key Stage 1 provision.
  • Has a secure subject knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every child within their class, tailoring their teaching to meet every child’s needs.
  • Uses positive behaviour management strategies and demonstrates a compassionate and restorative approach to dealing with behaviours.
  • Has the skills to work with colleagues to plan and deliver a creative, engaging, and effective learning curriculum.
  • Whose personal values align with those of our school.
  • Will actively contribute to school life and the wider community.
  • Possesses a sense of humour, positive outlook and has empathy.
  •  Is a reflective practitioner who recognises the importance of professional learning.
