What is the job role?

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 members to join our catering team. As Catering Assistant, you will support the Catering Team infrastructure across the Academy under the direction of the Academy Catering Manager.

One position will be based at Ss Peter & Pauls Catholic Primary School and another at St Gregorys Catholic Primary School, however the successful candidates would need to be flexible and be able to support any of the 8 schools in the Multi Academy Company.

Grade: Grade 1 (points 1-2, £17,842 - £18,198) paid pro rata to hours and weeks worked

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 20 hours per week TTO

Start Date: September 2021

The successful candidate will:

Ensure that the responsibilities of the role are carried out in a way that reflects the vision and values across the Romero MAC schools
Be aware of and observe all policies, procedures, working practices and regulations, and in particular to comply with policies relating to Child Protection, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Confidentiality, Data Protection and Financial Regulations, reporting any concerns to an appropriate person.

Provide an Catering service to staff and pupils within the Romero Academy by planning, preparing, cooking and presenting food to the standards required by The Romero Catholic Academy.
Ensure that the Academy’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced by the development of new initiatives and ideas.
