Salary - Depending on hours agreed - £11.59 per hour (under review)

Hours – Negotiable - Between 15 – 20 per week 10.00am – 2.00pm depending on hours agreed

Permanent – Grade 2 – Term time only - 38 weeks.

We are looking to recruit a hardworking and reliable Catering Assistant to work as part of our busy Catering Team – supporting our daily kitchen and dining room operation.

We currently serve meals to approximately 120 students per day; these include meals for students with special dietary requirements.

Who are we looking for?

As a member of the catering team, you will be expected to undertake the following tasks:

• Basic food preparation

• Organisation of service trolley’s

• Distribution of meals

• General kitchen/dining room cleaning

• Washing up

• Stock rotation

• Sweeping/mopping

As part of your training, you will be required to undertake  a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) as well as a Health and Safety Induction.
