About the team we are recruiting to

Destination Coventry is the official marketing organisation for Coventry and the wider region, promoting the area as a destination of distinction for both leisure and business visitors.

As a team we are responsible for a number of functions including; 

  • Ensuring visitors to the city and wider region have an enjoyable experience during their time with us and receive the warmest of welcomes.
  • Management of our two Visitor Information Centres. 
  • Operation of the Coventry & Warwickshire Convention Bureau.
  • Providing business support to the hospitality and tourism sector in the region.
  • Delivery of a marketing and events strategy to position Coventry as a destination of distinction for business and leisure visitors.

What is the job role?

Have you got a passion for Coventry and the ability to deliver superior customer service and support?

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working candidates to support our visitor information facilities by providing a friendly welcome and insight into the city of Coventry.

This roles are casual posts to support our team at busy times. They allow the flexibility to accept hours that work for you over our 7 day a week operations. 

Who are we looking for?

You will have the responsibility to represent and promote Coventry in a positive way, supporting the Visitor Information Team Leaders with day-to-day enquiries and duties as detailed within the job description.

Good knowledge of visitor attractions and tourism assets within Coventry and Warwickshire would be an advantage, as would an understanding of the region’s cultural heritage and history.

Varied and flexible hours, 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.
