What is the job role?

Casual Contract initially to cover long term absence 9am – 4.30pm Monday and Tuesday and 9am – 1.30pm Wednesday until 21st July 2021, casual hours thereafter depending on the need of the school.

We are a welcoming and inclusive school seeking a friendly and efficient Clerical Assistant to cover sickness absence until July 2021. You work in partnership with our existing staff in a busy school office. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient running of the office.

You will provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Senior Leadership Team. You will complete administrative and secretarial duties, acting as the first point of contact for children, parents and visitors. You do not need any previous experience of school IT systems and any training will be provided.

You must be confident in communicating, have a good level of keyboard skills, and be able to organise and prioritise your own workload. The successful candidate will operate in a positive and proactive way, demonstrating a high level of initiative, competence and confidentiality.
