Casual Cleaner

What is the job role?

We wish to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and committed cleaner to ensure the delivery of a high-quality cleaning service working under the supervision of our Site Services Officer and School Business Manager. This is a casual position to cover maternity leave.

Cannon Park Primary School is a popular, thriving school. Please note this is a casual contract.

Who are we looking for?

  • Be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Be well motivated and able to work flexibly, unsupervised or as part of a team
  • Have a basic knowledge of health and safety
  • Be able to stand, bend and stretch to do a variety of cleaning duties including moving cleaning equipment

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.

Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
