Integrated Community Equipment Service is a joint service with Coventry City Council and NHS/Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. We provide a service in supplying various items of equipment to residents of Coventry to enable and support them with daily independent living. To support and facilitate hospital discharges and prevention, working alongside various professions across the city. These can be Occupational Therapists, Physio Therapists, District Nurses, Social Workers, Doctors or Specialist Therapists.
What is the job role?
You will promote independence and personalised approaches in a safe, respectful, and dignified manner; giving people choice and control over the services they are using and ensuring the best possible outcomes for individuals.
We have 1 Permanent position and 1 Temporary position for up to 6 months, both working 28 hours a week.
You will work from a rolling fixed rota, covering 28 hours a week.
The shift pattern will cover days including (4 days in and 3 days off per week).
Shift times are 7:30am - 3pm and 2:30pm - 10pm.
You would work alternative weekends which you are paid an enhancement for.
Please note, this role does not meet the criteria for sponsorship.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?
This is a “hands-on” role in which no two days are the same. You will, therefore, need to be physically fit, have a flexible, patient, and non-judgemental approach to your work, and able to demonstrate and adapt excellent communication skills.
Please note, you will be required to attend the interview process, face to face at the unit.
