Actual Salary: £24,374 - £29,664
Full time equivalent salary: Grade 6 Support Staff Scale £27,041 - £32,910

About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Careers Information, Advice and Guidance Lead (CIAG), who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to help deliver outstanding, impartial guidance to our students. The role includes liaising successfully with parents, carers, teachers and education providers to ensure students have a wide range of opportunities and experiences provided to explore KS4, Post 16 and Post 18 pathways.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, has great attention to detail and is self- motivated
- Has worked within a school environment, providing careers information, advice and guidance
- Has an awareness of the statutory requirements for Careers Education in schools
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
