What is the job role?
Attendance Officer
Fixed Term Contract (in the first instance)
Required as soon as possible after 1st December 2022 – 31 August 2023
Grade 4 spinal point 10 £26,200 p.a. pro rata to completed months of employment.
We are looking for an attendance officer to join our team to monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, analysing data to identify key areas of concern. To work closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to build a career in the education sector. We are looking for someone with skills gained in an educational environment or similar customer focussed organisation. You will work alongside a strong team of both support and teaching staff. - Experience working in a school environment or other educational setting
- Experience identifying interventions to raise attendance of pupils
- Experience working directly with pupils and parents
- Experience working collaboratively with colleagues
- Experience analysing data and producing reports and identifying key insights
