About the team we are recruiting to
The Insight team's role is to question, influence and provide understanding to make life better in Coventry.
The Insight Team collects, analyses, interprets, and publishes a wide range of insights about the city, and engages with residents, communities, and partners to champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making across Coventry.
What is the job role?
Analysts in the Insight Team work together to collect, analyse, interpret, and present research and intelligence to provide evidence and insight to improve decision-making in the city. This will involve work in a variety of areas, including:
Increasing the economic prosperity of Coventry;
improve outcomes and tackle inequalities within our communities;
addressing the causes and consequences of climate change;
preventing and managing COVID-19 outbreaks in the city and sub-region, which includes ongoing surveillance, community testing, local contact tracing, supporting self-isolation.
Immediate start available subject to relevant suitability and pre-employment checks.
We have two full-time, permanent roles available, as well as one fixed-term role until November 2022. Flexible-working and part-time working available upon request.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking someone with excellent ICT and data skills, as we make extensive use of Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and Microsoft SharePoint.
