About the team we are recruiting to

The Adult Social Care Service in Coventry includes a number of teams that work creatively and diligently to ensure that individuals are supported to live full and flourishing lives.

What is the job role?

We are looking for registered social workers to work across our teams in Adult Social Care.

We have several vacancies across our services, including in our Adult Disability and Older People service areas.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

You will need to have a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and Social Work England registration.

We are looking for staff with a range of experience. We need people with knowledge of social work practice and legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, a good understanding of personalisation, and excellent assessment and analysis skills.

You will be committed to achieving the best for the people of Coventry. You will be joining a great team of people who are passionate about the city, its people, and its exciting prospects.
