Terms and Conditions: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 15 days
Actual Salary: £16,962 - £18,000 pro rata per annum
Full time equivalent salary: £18,933 - £20,092 per annum

About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Administrative Officer with excellent customer service, organisational and interpersonal skills to join the school’s team of office support staff.
The role will support the day to day operational running of the school’s administrative team, assist in the planning of school events, pupil attendance, liaising with parents/carers, and administration for school trips and a variety of other administration duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills including familiarity with IT systems such as; internet applications, Word, Excel, and Outlook and be able to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines.
Hardworking and reliable, you will ideally have recent experience of working within an administration environment and strive to deliver the highest standards of customer service. Previous experience of working within an environment with children would be advantageous but not essential.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has excellent communication skills
• Has exceptional administration skills and can prioritise workloads
• Is flexible and can adapt to changing situations in this very demanding role
• Has a high level of knowledge and thorough understanding of ICT and software packages
• Experience of using SIMS is desirable but full training will be given
