Administrative Assistant - Moat House Primary School

This vacancy is for 32 hours per week, ideally working over 4 days, 8am – 4.30pm, term time only.

An opportunity to join the team at Moat House Primary School has arisen for a reliable, friendly, well organised and motivated individual.  Working in the school office, we are looking for someone who will provide a welcoming and professional service at our busy school. You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, as you will be one of the first            points of contact for parents and visitors and will also handle telephone enquiries.

The ideal person will have admin/office experience, preferably within a school setting, however this is not essential. In addition to general  administration support, this role will also assist with the schools finance function, directed by the School Business Manager. You will need to demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 is required, experience of SIMS and FMS would be an advantage, but not essential.

Due to the changing demands of the office a flexible approach is needed, along with patience, a sense of humour and a positive approach.
