Sherbourne Fields is an outstanding all age special school for pupils with a broad spectrum of need including physical disabilities, medical conditions and learning needs. With 240 pupils on role from September 2022, we an extremely busy school, and as such are looking for someone who can multitask whilst remaining calm and focused throughout.
We are looking to recruit an Administrative/Finance Assistant to undertake the daily administration, finance and reception tasks here at Sherbourne Fields School. The main duties of this post cover whole school administration, the monitoring of attendance and managing pupil data - with elements of finance which include the daily cash collection; accounts receivable and credit control.
The successful candidate will be well versed in Microsoft IT packages and will be expected to produce regular financial reports. In addition, they will have a good understanding of education processes and controls and be able to prioritise their workload whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
You will be working to support the school Office Manager on a day to day basis. Applicants must be able to prioritise and manage their workload whilst ensuring deadlines are met and would ideally have a minimum of one years’ experience working within a similar setting.
Applications particularly welcomed from candidates with experience of using SIMS, Pay360, handling cash and knowledge of FMS. You will be expected to adapt to the changing environment, working with the front office staff, supporting with reception duties as and when required.
