Admin Assistant

What is the job role?

The Governors wish to appoint an Admin Assistant for our popular and friendly school.   This is a varied and responsible administrative role supporting the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, staff, pupils, parents, and governors in the efficient day-to-day operation of the school.  Confidentiality is a key requirement of this role.

 

The role also provides leadership to the administrative team in the absence of the Business Manager. Strong organisational, communication, and ICT skills are essential, ideally with experience of SIMS but training can be provided.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is friendly and approachable.  You will be working in a busy office and dealing with different stakeholders every day.

There will be differing priorities and a lot of variety, but the day goes fast.

The successful candidate will provide a full administrative service for the management team, assist with administration processes within SIMS and other systems for both pupils and staff.  They will also support the Business Manager with GDPR, Health & Safety administration and reconciliation of accounts.
