Admin Assistant

Due to a promotion, we are now looking to recruit a new Admin Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working team.

What is the job role?

We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to help coordinate the day-to-day running of the school office, lead on attendance and admissions as well as support our senior leadership team with high-quality administrative support. The person appointed will work under the direction of the Assistant School Business Manager.

You need to have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
  •  A flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Commitment to finish tasks
  • Friendly, supportive manner
  • A passion for improving the life chances of children
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience is desirable but not essential

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have an awareness of office procedures and equipment
  • To be able to maintain office administrative systems
  • To receive visitors in a welcoming way, answer queries, and cope with parents, assistants/visitors according to guidelines set
  • awareness of the roles of a receptionist and admin assistant
  • to work as part of a team
