What is the job role?

Grade 3 (pro rata salary £16,356 - £17,357 per annum)

37 hours a week term time only plus one week (39 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint the following Teaching Assistant posts to work with colleagues across President Kennedy School to ensure that students make outstanding progress by removing barriers to learning:

  • Teaching Assistant
  • Teaching Assistant – SEN
  • Teaching Assistant (for named student with Visual Impairment) * In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, it is an occupational requirement that the jobholder is female, as this role requires the provision of personal care and assistance for a female student.

You will be committed to building brighter futures and educated to Advanced Level / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or similar experience and evidence of ongoing professional development. You will have a minimum of 1 years’ classroom experience, or relevant work with young people in one of a range of fields such as education, youth work, health and social work.
