1:1 Learning Assistant - St Thomas More Catholic Primary School

What is the job role?

We are a two-form entry school with capacity for 420 pupils and a 52-place nursery.

The Holy Cross Catholic MAC wish to appoint a 1:1 Learning Assistant to join our team on a fixed term basis, caring for a child with SEN.

The successful candidate will:

  • Supportive of the school’s distinctive Catholic nature.
  • Enthusiastic and inspirational with a passion for engaging children in learning through play.
  • Able to demonstrate high expectations for respectful behavior.
  • A strong team player.
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to uphold the safeguarding ethos of the school.

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School became part of the Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy Company from 1 September 2019 along with Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School, Bishop Ullathorne Catholic Secondary School and St Augustine’s, Christ the King, St Elizabeth’s and St John Vianney Catholic Primary Schools, which are all located in Coventry.
