30 hours per week - Term Time plus training days (39 weeks)

Grade 3 - £21,189 full time equivalent paid pro rata, £14,842 actual salary

Fixed Term 1 year in first instance may continue dependent on funding

 

We are looking to appoint a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities SEND. 

Edgewick is a 2-form entry primary school situated on the Foleshill Road.  We have the highest expectations for all staff and pupils and are passionate about the enrichment of an appropriate and tailored curriculum for all.

Are you dynamic, fun, and hard working? Do you learn quickly and have appropriate qualifications or experience? Can you use your own initiative, take direction and work effectively as part of a team? If so, you could be just what we are looking for.

The successful TA will need to be able to support a pupil that has specific learning needs. With support from other members of staff, you will support the pupil with their progress and attainment, and during lunchtime, supporting their personal and social development. Experience supporting both Autism (ASD) and Speech and Language needs desirable.

The post will initially be on a one-year contract that will be reviewed yearly and could be extended if funding is continued.
