1 - 1 AM Learning Assistant - St Thomas More Catholic Primary School

What is the job role?

Required from: as soon as possible (May 22)

Fixed term contract

Part time (20 hours/week – mornings)

Grade 2

The Holy Cross Catholic MAC wish to appoint a dedicated, passionate and committed learning assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with an Educational Health Care Plan.

The successful candidate will be:

· Supportive of the school’s distinctive Catholic nature

· Enthusiastic

· Highly organised

· Have experience of working with children with additional needs, including autism and sensory processing difficulties

· Be able to work with the recommendations of the child’s EHCP under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo

· Caring and empathetic but maintaining high expectations

The funding is linked to the pupil. The post would cease if the pupil left or if the funding was withdrawn.
