Site Services Officer - Gosford Park School

What is the job role?

Required after February half term 2022, (week commencing 28th February 2022).

Due to the retirement of the current postholder, an opportunity has a arisen for an enthusiastic, multi-skilled and dedicated Site Services Officer, to join our exceptional School.  We require the appointed candidate to take up the post at the end of February 2022, when a handover and induction will take place up to Easter 2022.

We are a happy, multicultural, inner city primary school.  The post is for a non-resident Site Services Officer, to join our welcoming and supportive team.  The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of building and grounds maintenance; ensuring fire safety measures are regularly checked; premises are clean at all times; contractors are supervised, and health and safety procedures are strictly followed.

You will have principle key holder responsibility and work on a split shift basis, early mornings and afternoon/ early evening work with call outs necessary during emergencies. We are looking to increase our lettings programme and there will be the requirement in the future, to attend lettings, to unlock and lock.

• A person who is reliable, proactive with a good knowledge of building maintenance tasks and site health and safety.
