Site Services Officer - Barr's Hill School

What is the job role?

Grade 4 £19,698 - £23,080 per annum

37 hours per week all year round

We are looking for an outstanding, committed and motivated individual to join the Site Services Team. You will assist to ensure the smooth running of the school by performing daily operational duties comprising janitorial and maintenance tasks and providing support to other departments. You will be responsible for liaising with contractors on site, overseeing their work and safety. You will have a good understanding of and practical skills with building maintenance tasks and site health and safety.

Barr’s Hill is an 11-18 inner city school in the heart of Coventry. Our diverse student population is one of the many strengths of the school. At Barr’s Hill School everything we do is focused on students and learning. Our results last summer were the most improved in Coventry and Ofsted judged us good in September. We are looking for highly motivated colleagues to take us to the next stage.  This is a  unique opportunity to work on school improvement focused on learning. The school has been stabilised and repaired. Now we need to transform.
