Part Time Careers Advisor GRADE 7 £32,798 - £39,571 FTE (Actual Salary £17,230 - £20,788) 22.5 hours per week, term time only, plus one week - Based at Finham Park 2
Finham Park 2 is an exciting co-educational academy in Coventry that opened in September 2015. Already a popular choice with local parents, we have a full cohort of Year 7 to 13 students. Our students are smart, thoughtful, inquisitive, well-behaved and polite; on entry they are significantly above the national average for attainment in English and Mathematics.
The school was set up by leaders from the ‘Outstanding’ (2015) Finham Park School and is proud to be part of and supported by the Finham Park Multi Academy Trust. An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and flexible candidate to support the school in continuing to achieve high standards of education. It is an exciting opportunity to support the ongoing development of the school in achieving our World Class ambitions.
The successful candidate will work within the school’s Pastoral system to provide impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students, as well as supporting staff to deliver careers education during PSHE lessons. As well as the appropriate qualifications and experience you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team and initiative to develop this area within the school. If you do not yet hold all the appropriate qualifications, but are looking to achieve them we will accept trainee applicants on the appropriate grade.
