What is the job role?

Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service.  We are a team that works with colleagues at all levels across Children’s Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.

This post is a fixed-term contract for 9 months and the role will be supporting both the Coventry Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (CSCP) and Coventry Safeguarding Adult’s Board (CSAB), who operate to co-ordinate the delivery of safeguarding services for Coventry residents, constantly striving for improvements to ensure the best possible outcomes for Coventry. The CSCP and CSAB have three statutory partners that they work with closely; West Midlands Police, Coventry City Council and The Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group.

We are seeking an Operational Support Team Leader to join this fast-paced and dynamic team to play a key part in supporting the day-to-day administrative work of the team. This will involve organising and supporting a variety of meetings, liaising with statutory partners, updating websites and newsletters and taking minutes at meetings.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
