What is the job role?
Relate Coventry and Warwickshire is looking for Domestic Abuse Children’s Practitioners.
Relate Coventry & Warwickshire is a registered charity providing counselling and support for adults, families and children across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Your role as a Domestic Abuse Children's Practitioner will be to work with children and young people and their families who are affected by Domestic Abuse to improve their safety, understand their experience, and overcome the trauma of witnessing or experiencing domestic violence. This will include delivering ‘support sessions’ via one to one and group work interventions and working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary partners.
37 hours per week at £23,000
and
18.5 hours per week at £11,500 (£23,000 pro rata)
You must have experience of working with children and young people and have a good understanding of Domestic Abuse.
You should be motivated, resilient, and committed to meeting positive outcomes for children and young people.
