Cleaners x2 - President Kennedy School

What is the job role?

Cleaner (Two vacancies)

Grade 1 (£8,118 - £8,280) per annum (£9.25ph - £9.43ph)

20 hours per week: Monday to Friday 6:45am – 8:45am and 3pm – 5pm (Split shift)

Term time only (38 weeks per year)

We are seeking to appoint two professional and motivated colleagues to work as part of the team responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout President Kennedy School as well as promoting good health and safety practices. 

They will be expected to undertake cleaning duties in an efficient and effective manner and to adopt a customer-focussed approach to their work. They will be committed to building brighter futures and able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding both of working practices, equipment and materials in relation to cleaning, and of the importance of health and safety and hygiene in the school environment.

The current working pattern for the role is a split shift of 6:45am – 8:45am and then 3pm – 5pm Monday to Friday - this may be subject to change in accordance with the needs of the school.
