What is the job role?

Permanent Assistant Head Teacher required, start date January 2022.

Leadership scale: 7 -11

The Governors of Baginton Fields School for students with a broad range of special educational needs are seeking to appoint an innovative, highly driven and motivated Assistant Head Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an inspiring professional who is able to use their energy, creativity and excellent personal skills in supporting us to work towards our vision, ethos and values.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience of leading a team and implementing change at a whole school level

• can demonstrate excellent classroom practice

• has a dynamic and creative approach to supporting the teaching of others and problem solving

• has a passion for working with students with a range of learning needs

• has the ability to challenge, motivate and inspire

• has excellent communication skills with a variety of audiences.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme, mentoring support and ongoing professional development in the field of special educational needs. The successful candidate wll be well supported by a team of dedicated professionals who are all focused on securing the best outcomes for students while preparing them for adulthood.
