1-1 Teaching Assistants - Corley Centre

What is the job role?

Corley Centre is looking to appoint two Teaching and Learning Assistants to provide 1-1 support; one for a KS3 student and one for a KS4 student. Corley Centre is a secondary special school for children with complex social and communication difficulties.  A significant number of students have an autism diagnosis.

Governors are looking to appoint a calm, creative, enthusiastic and hard-working individual, with a positive mind-set, who is prepared to contribute fully to all aspects of school life and work as part of a dedicated team to enhance our students’ learning and personal development.

These posts are particularly suitable for graduates seeking school-based experience, able to support students across all subjects and particularly GCSE study or existing support staff with experience of working with children with autistic spectrum condition.  The school has been awarded NAS Autism Accreditation and a comprehensive package of training will be provided to all new staff.

One Year Contract in the first instance

Working pattern

32 hours per week, term time only
